Kalytera alarm rules connect an implemented trigger to a target, schedule, severity, and one or more actions. The rule editor currently exposes 29 selectable trigger types.
Configure alarm rules at Configure → Alarm Configuration. View active alarms under Alarms in the top navigation.
License requirement: Alarm configuration requires the Alarms feature flag. It is available during the full-feature demo or through a commercial signed license file that enables it. Analytics-based rules also require the relevant analytics capability.
The names below match the selectable trigger set implemented by the rule editor:

Motion Detection and Object Detection are top-level triggers. When you select Analytic Rules, choose one of the nested analytic rule types currently implemented:
Click New Rule, then configure the fields exposed for the selected trigger:
Start with a narrow target and an operating-hours schedule, then tune thresholds against real site conditions before expanding a rule.
Active alarms are displayed in the Alarms section of the navigation. The alarm list shows when each alarm fired, which device triggered it, the severity level, and the current state (Active / Acknowledged / Resolved).

Click Acknowledge to record that an operator reviewed the event. Automatic resolution is a per-rule option and is off by default; when disabled, an operator must resolve the alarm explicitly.
