Schedules and holidays
Create a shared weekly schedule, keep one holiday calendar, add dated exceptions, and assign the schedule to recording, image checks or Cloud arming.

Use Schedules and holidays to define when scheduled recording, image checks or Cloud arming should apply. Administrators maintain one library under Cameras > Schedules and holidays. Image checks can use it without cloud recording. Availability also depends on the features enabled for your portal.
Create a weekly schedule
- Open New schedule, enter a recognizable Name and keep Enabled selected.
- Choose Time zone from the list. Check that it matches the location whose opening hours you are entering; do not assume your browser's suggested zone is correct.
- In Weekly local-time slots, drag across the week grid to add periods. Start on a shaded block to remove time. Grid step offers 30 min and 15 min.
- Check the exact periods in the rows below. Use Add interval for another period, or the weekday and every-day presets. A weekly end before its start continues into the next day.
- Select Save schedule and check whether the page says the current time is inside or outside its window.
The schedule uses local time in its chosen zone and follows daylight-saving changes. Name it for its purpose, such as warehouse opening hours, so another administrator can recognize what an edit will affect.
Use the holiday calendar
- Under Holiday calendar, at the end of the page, select Add holiday and enter its Name, From and a To (optional) date.
- Select Save holiday calendar.
- Edit each schedule that should follow it. Under Holidays, tick Apply the holiday calendar, choose On holidays: Off all day, On all day or Custom hours, and select Save schedule.
You enter the holidays once for every schedule, and each schedule decides what they mean. A dated exception of a schedule takes precedence on its days.
Add a dated exception
- Edit the schedule and open Dated exceptions.
- Select Add exception. Set From, a To (optional) date and an optional name.
- Under On these days, choose Off all day, On all day or Custom hours.
- For custom hours, enter the start and end; an end of 00:00 means midnight. Save the schedule.
An exception replaces the whole day's weekly periods in the schedule's time zone, including that day's overnight slot. Two exceptions cannot cover the same date. For example, choose Off all day for a closed holiday, or custom hours for an early closing; do not also leave an overlapping exception for that date.
Assign the schedule
- For a camera, choose Scheduled recording and select the schedule. See Recording, retention, and evidence.
- For image checks, choose During and the schedule. Outside its periods, checks pause; an existing problem remains open. See Image checks.
- For a Cloud arming group, open its Edit setup > Advanced > Schedule, choose the schedule and select Save. See Cloud arming and site controls.
Change a shared schedule carefully
Check the cameras and arming groups using a schedule before editing it. Changes apply to every assignment and may change a group's current armed state immediately. Editing one used by Cloud arming requires its configuration permission, and disarming permission when the change disarms a group now.
Disabling a schedule stops scheduled recording and image checks that use it. To delete one marked In use, first reassign its cameras and arming groups. If someone else saved a change while you were editing, reload and review their version before trying again.
