Cameras and sites

Camera count, number of locations, tenant structure, users, and the Bridge Agents needed for LAN-only networks.

Recording behavior

Live-only, continuous, scheduled, or adaptive motion/object recording changes compute and storage demand.

Retention and storage

Measured bitrate, retention policy, quota, and Azure Blob or S3-compatible storage determine the footage footprint.

Stream profile

Resolution, frame rate, codec, bitrate, and expected live-view use affect ingest, transcode, and delivery costs.

Analytics

Motion, object, zone, and line analysis add compute; alarms can add snapshots, verification clips, email, webhooks, and ARC delivery.

Connection path

RTMP push, reachable RTSP pull, or Bridge Agent deployment changes onboarding and site-network requirements.
